Papanas preparation recipe

These are the skewers from Saturday, but today I'm taking another tour. They're so good you can't get enough. Literally, you have to try them :))

It doesn't require too much hassle, just a few ingredients and the combinations are multiple.

  • chicken breast, red kapia pepper, mushrooms, prague ham, onion, zucchini, soy sauce, spices for chicken and grill, herbs from Provence, beer, salt, pepper.

I prepared the sauce from soy sauce, spices for chicken and grill and herbs from Provence.

I cut into pieces the zucchini, pepper, ham and mushrooms. As the onion is smaller, I cut it into 4 and removed each layer of coating.

I kept the skewer sticks in the water for 2 minutes.

I started assembling the skewers according to my preferences. one wants with onions, another without. etc :), alternating vegetables and meat.

I put them on the grill, seasoned them with salt and pepper and turned them on all sides to penetrate evenly.

Towards the end of baking, I sprinkled them with beer. Watch out for the vapors that form when we put the beer!

As I told you some time ago, on Monday I had a gathering of girls - several friends came to visit and I treated them with papanasi. I don't know where I got the recipe from again, I tried several recipes over time (with semolina, with more flour, with more eggs.) And that was a winner. I hope you try it because everyone who tasted my papanas said that they are the best and that you can't find them at the restaurant either.

Good. let's move on to the ingredients and the manufacturing method:
Papanasi ingredient:
250 g cottage cheese
25 g sugar
1 egg (separately the egg white)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda, quenched with lemon juice
90 g flour
a pinch of salt
lemon peel, possibly orange
vanilla
frying oil - about half a liter, but it depends on the pan in which you fry (the oil must pass half of the papanas)

The above ingredients are for 2 servings of papanasi (4 papanasi and 4 balls). Depending on how many portions you want to make, double, triple. the quantities.
Preparation:
Cheese + salt + sugar + spices + yolks - mix very well (I mix them by hand).

Put the baking soda, drizzle the lemon juice over it and mix well again, so that the baking soda does not remain in one place.
Beat the egg whites and then incorporate them with a spoon, stirring from the bottom up.

Add flour and mix well by hand. Depending on how wet the cottage cheese is and the size of the eggs, the amount of flour can change up or down - it is important to know that it is not fixed.
We spread the flour on the work table, take balls with a spoon and then form them with our hands given with flour. Don't forget the hole and the balls above. Caution & # 33 If the papanas are too large, they may not ripen in the middle. They will grow fried anyway, so don't overdo it

I recommend starting frying only after all the papanas have formed, otherwise there is a risk of burning them. At the same time, if you want to decorate the plates, it is good to do this at the beginning, so that the papanas do not cool down until we serve them. This is how I prepare my plates, with cocoa and powdered sugar:

Put oil in the pan (about half a liter, ie to pass half the papanas). Heat and try with a small piece of dough (when it rises and you see that it is frying, add the papanasii). We need :
90 grams of sugar
100 ml of fresh milk

Caramelize the sugar, taking care not to burn it, in a deeper bowl. Remove from the heat and add the milk. Put back on low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Allow to cool. That's all & # 33

Mount on the plate in order (Attention & # 33): papanas, jam, sour cream, ball, powdered sugar (possibly some caramel). Do not put sour cream before the jam because it melts, flows and affects the papanas - it softens and is not so crunchy.

Because only now I bought a tray of muffins, I chose several recipes from the net, I took something from each one and here's what came out:

Ingredient:
2 eggs
80 ml oil
300 grams of banana shake (I blended 2 bananas with natural yogurt)
180 gr sugar
vanilla sugar
25 grams of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
the juice from half a flour
a pinch of salt
For the filling:
hazelnuts, nuts, chocolate, frozen fruits
For decoration:
chocolate icing (I melted the pieces in a micro chocolate with a teaspoon of butter)
coconut, hazelnuts, walnuts.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Beat the egg whites with the sugar, add the yolks mixed with salt.
Pour the oil lightly, stirring constantly.

We also pour the banana shake. The baking soda is quenched in lemon juice and added to the composition, then flour in the rain until it acquires this thicker cream consistency.

Line the pan with butter and flour, pour the dough and put the fillings. For some chocolate muffins and hazelnuts, for some frozen fruits and hazelnuts, then bake for about 15 minutes. Check with the toothpick when they are ready.

Let them cool, then decorate them.
I put a few pieces of chocolate with a teaspoon of butter and rum essence in the microwave, then I put them in a bag and deodorized while it was still quite hot.
On some muffins I put coconut, on others hazelnuts or walnuts.
I assure you that they are very fluffy and flavorful from banana and chocolate with rum.

PREPARATION
1. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt (I put them in the mixer) and with the 5 tablespoons of vanilla powdered sugar, until you get a meringue, in which you incorporate the crushed yolks and mixed with the oil. in the rain, mixing gently, until a perfect homogenization.
Line a tray with baking paper, pour the dough and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes on a suitable heat. The baking sheet comes off the paper with a knife blade and then turn down up, all on the same paper.
2. Mix the whipped cream until it hardens, then give it in two parts, one remains white and mix well with the 3 tablespoons of vanilla powdered sugar and use to garnish, and the other part mix with Finetti cream, stopping a few spoons for garnish, and the rest is spread evenly on the baking tray. I begin by saying that on December 12, my dear father celebrated his 46th birthday. My mom and I wish him all the best in the world, may God give him much health and a fulfilled life with us & # 33

And because this contest requires us to prepare our favorite sweets, I made with all my love a cake with everything my father likes. That's how the "Winter Fragrance Cake" turned out

For the WALNUT TABLE we need:
- 6 eggs (of which 2 yolks are kept for cream)
- 140 g ground walnuts
- 140 g of powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 packet of baking powder.

WALNUT Procedure:
1. Whisk the egg whites hard. Then add the sugar.
2. Add the ground walnuts.
3. Then flour mixed with baking powder.
4. Finally, add 4 of the 6 yolks.
5. Place the dough in a tray with removable walls, and then put it in the preheated oven at 180 ËšC until it passes the sample with the toothpick.

For COFFEE CREAM we need:
- 200 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 yolks (those left from the counter)
- 2 tablespoons of black coffee
- 1 vanilla
- 50 g fried and caramelized walnuts.

COFFEE CREAM procedure:
6. Beat the butter with the sugar until a frothy cream results
7. Add the 2 yolks
8. Then the 2 tablespoons of black coffee
9. Vanilla sugar
10. And finally the roasted walnut, caramelized and chopped in the robot. The resulting tasty cream is put in the fridge until the cake is assembled.

We move on to the preparation of the ORANGE JEWEL. I have the recipe from here, but I changed the procedure and the ingredients a bit. For a holiday scent in the house and an extraordinarily sweet-sour taste between the countertops we need:
- juice from 2 large oranges (or 3 more suitable)
- the juice of 1 lemon
- shells from 1 orange + 1 lemon (cut larger)
- 5 tablespoons of honey
- 5 g gelatin
- a few drops of orange essence.

ORANGE JELLY procedure:
11. Put in a pot, over low heat, the orange juice, honey, chopped orange and lemon peels and boil for a few minutes
12. After 2 minutes, remove the shells and add the essence
13. Then strain the syrup through a small sieve, until we get a clear liquid
14. After it has cooled down a bit, add the previously melted gelatin
15. Refrigerate the syrup until it begins to turn into jelly

Then prepare a CRISPY CHOCOLATE COAT by melting a dark chocolate bar together with a tablespoon of liquid cream. Then add the cereal.

Let's move on to CAKE ASSEMBLY:
16. Syrup the first top with a syrup of water + instant coffee + sugar
17. Put half of the coffee cream
18. Add the crispy top
19. Add the other half of the coffee cream
