Chocolate chip cookies

I flipped through the culinary pages in search of a good biscotti recipe and in the end I stopped at Mihai's recipe.
They came out very good.
Now ..you cut them as thin and crunchy as you want, I didn't want them too strong, to please the chicks as well.

  • 200 gr chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 150 gr sugar
  • 150 gr walnut (mine was mixed ground + pieces)
  • two cups of flour
  • two eggs
  • a teaspoon of baking powder
  • 30 gr butter
  • a teaspoon of vanilla essence

Preparation time: over 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Chocolate biscuits:

The eggs are mixed with the sugar until the crystals are no longer felt and the mixture doubles in volume.
Add the extension.
Melt the chocolate together with the butter, over low heat. Add the cocoa and let it cool, then add it in a thin layer over the egg mixture and mix.
Give up the mixer and replace with a wooden spoon adding flour mixed with baking powder and mixing gently until smooth. We add 5 tablespoons of milk only if necessary - I had ground walnuts and it had to be added but if you only have pieces of walnuts I don't think you should.

Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Remove on the floured work table, form from the composition three rolls that are placed, with enough space between them, in a tray lined with baking paper.
Place in the preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove the tray and with a sharp knife cut the rolls into slices and put them back in the oven for 10 minutes.
Wonderful with milk or coffee in the morning!
