A melon ice cream cake prepared according to the recipe taken from Grandma, for which I made small changes

  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 yolks
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 500 g peeled watermelon

Watermelon ice cream cake is prepared as follows:

Mix the yolks with the sugar until a cream is obtained

The melon core is mixed. Whip the cream well. Add the yolks and watermelon, mixing well. Pour everything into a container and put in the freezer. Leave for an hour, remove and mix well to break the ice needles. The operation is repeated twice more.

LEMONADE WITH RED MELON

In hot weather, our favorite drink is lemonade .

I do it in many combinations, depending on the fruits I have at hand, usually in season. Lemonade with watermelon we do not miss it, it is delicious, colorful and it is made very quickly.

  • 300 ml watermelon juice
  • 2 large lemons
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey (sweetener or sugar to taste)
  • mint leaves
  • lime slices

Method of preparation lemonade with watermelon

Peel a squash, grate it and mix it for a few seconds in a blender or blend it with a vertical mixer. Strain the juice and place it in a 1 l carafe.

Add the lemon juice, honey, mint leaves, lime slices and top with water. Put the bowl in the fridge for at least an hour and drink the lemonade with ice cubes. Enjoy!

Watermelon border

The most refreshing dessert you can prepare in summer with minimal effort.

Pass all the ingredients with a blender until you get a homogeneous mixture. Pour everything into a metal tray and put in the freezer for 1 hour.

After an hour, take out of the freezer, mix using a fork and crush any frozen part. Level and put back in the freezer for 2 hours until hardened. Use a fork to scrape off the frozen mixture so that you get border flakes.

Cover and place in the freezer until serving.

The border can be prepared up to 3 days in advance.

Homemade ice cream with watermelon - Melon sorbet recipe

Watermelon is for me the fruit that best defines summer. Since childhood, with the arrival of summer, I wait for the melons to ripen and then I think that there is no day when I do not eat melons.

Sorbet is actually a kind of simple ice cream, in which you combine fruit juice with a sip of sugar day water. Let's say the more complicated part is mixing with the blender several times to give the ice cream a smooth finish. However, it is worth doing because it is a refreshing dessert and in addition it does not have as many calories as an ice cream.

Here is a simple homemade melon sorbet recipe. It is very easy to prepare, you just have to wait a few good hours until it freezes and acquires the desired consistency. Preparation time is about 3-4 hours (25 minutes of actual work and the rest of the time waiting for freezing)

First of all, you have to choose a melon, which you can then peel and seed.

As quantities of ingredients you need for a quantity of 1.5 kg of watermelon:
& # 8211 1 cup sugar
& # 8211 ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
& # 8211 ½ l of water
& # 8211 2 egg whites.

Put the watermelon in a blender and mix it until it becomes a puree. Put the puree in a sieve and let the juice drain well and put it back in the blender and mix again. Separate the squeezed juice again.

Separately put water and sugar on the fire and leave it on the fire until it boils and the syrup thickens a little. Then this syrup is left to cool.

Add the cooled syrup over the melon puree, add the lemon juice and mix in the bender again. Then put the bowl covered with a transparent foil in the freezer for about 2-3 hours.

Remove the bowl from the freezer, put the two egg whites and mix in the blender again. Put it in the freezer once more until it hardens.

Ready, green pepper sorbet ice cream is ready to serve! You can serve it simply, with a few mint leaves or you can add a few chocolate chips. My favorite version is with chocolate!

As you prepared this melon sorbet, you can do the same with practically any juicy summer fruit. Make yourself a healthy and cool ice cream at home!

If you want to surprise your friends on a warm summer evening, find out that this watermelon sorbet can turn into a slightly alcoholic cool drink.
Put in a tall glass ¾ watermelon sorbet and pour over 20-30 ml of vodka or any liqueur of your choice. Mix and serve the drink with a straw. Simple, right?


Ice cream & # 8220Slice slice & # 8221

Put the watermelon and lemon juice in a blender and process until smooth. We pour the composition in the prepared forms (we fill them about 3/4) and 3-4 raisins in chocolate, to simulate the watermelon seeds. Put the ice cream sticks in the middle of the forms and put them in the freezer for 2-3 hours until they harden.

For the white layer

Also in a blender we process the coconut milk, with the seeds from the vanilla pod and the spoon of powdered sugar. I admit that for the sake of the picture I used sugar to make the layer as white as possible, probably next time I will use a coconut syrup or other sweetener.

For the green layer

Blend the peeled kiwi fruit together with the fresh mint. Sugar is not mandatory here, it depends on the sweetness of the kiwi fruit, mine was a bit sour.

Pour the composition over the white layer and put them back in the freezer. Our slice of watermelon is ready!

When we want to enjoy ice cream, we hold the shape under running water for 20 seconds and it should come off easily. It also depends on the shapes, with the silicone ones the process is much easier. Bon appetit to Delights!


Watermelon border

You need:

A large slice of watermelon cut into cubes (be sure to remove the seeds)

3 tablespoons of honey (if you give up honey completely, you will serve a cold snack for dessert with a number of calories close to 0!)

Method of preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until you get a puree. Put it in a tray and leave it in the freezer for an hour. Remove the tray from the freezer and with a fork break the ice crystals, then put it back for another 3 hours.

Put the border in cups and garnish with mint or basil leaves and lime slices. That's all!

If you have an ice cream machine, you can prepare the border in it, for a finer texture.

Whatever texture or way of serving you prefer, watermelon granite must make room in your summer menu!


Watermelon ice cream

Of all the types of homemade ice cream, watermelon is the most refreshing and easiest to make. Sweet and fragrant watermelons have already appeared on the market, so it is the perfect time for such an ice cream.

You can make this ice cream in larger quantities by doubling the ingredients. You can also completely give up sugar or add more, depending on the taste and how sweet the melon is.

Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove the seeds. Strain the watermelon with a blender.

Separately, beat the liquid cream and sugar with a mixer until the cream has hardened. Pour the melon paste and mix for another two minutes, until smooth.

Pour the composition into a bowl with a lid, which you will put in the freezer. Stir every half hour to prevent the ice from crystallizing.

Serve with fresh mint.

Watermelon ice cream!

Summer has come and made me think of something refreshing and healthy.

So even today, I decided to make an ice cream before checking if I have the right ingredients around the house. So I opened the fridge and saw a watermelon, which I said on the date, "You'll be my ice cream today."

So, melon ice cream will be!

This recipe is very easy to make and is prepared in a few minutes, cold, all you need is a blender.

500 grams of peeled watermelon and seeds

150 grams of vegan yogurt

juice of 1/2 lemon

optional: 1 teaspoon grated orange

Mix everything in a blender until it becomes a paste

Then put it in a suitable bowl and put it in the freezer.

Every 30 minutes, mix vigorously in the bowl with the mixer, cover well and put in the freezer until the ice cream is done. Frequent mixing has the role of preventing the formation of ice crystals in the composition.

After the ice cream has hardened well, it can be tasted immediately or stored in the freezer until a suitable occasion.


Ice cream on a stick with melon and raspberry

For today, I propose an easy and very healthy recipe for ice cream on a stick with melon and raspberry, a good alternative to commercial ice cream.

It is full of fresh fruits, in season, and has many vitamins and minerals to help you withstand the heat outside more easily. It's the perfect way to cool off, and once you make it at home, you'll never buy ice cream on a stick in the store.

Ingredients for ice cream on a stick with melon and raspberry:

-360 gr cubes of watermelon, without seeds

-2 teaspoons of honey or 2 tablespoons of sugar

-1 teaspoon corn syrup (optional).

Method of preparation:

Put all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or hand mixer. Pass until a velvety mixture is obtained.

The obtained mixture is passed through a fine strainer, removing the solid parts left after mixing.

Take the ice cream molds on the stick, pour the resulting mixture into each of them, put the ice cream sticks and put them in the freezer for 6-7 hours, until they harden enough.

Take them out of the freezer and put them under a stream of warm water so that the ice cream can easily come off the molds and they are ready to serve.
