Ham and Mushroom Pizza

Ham and Mushroom Pizza from: pizza dough, garlic, tomatoes, assorted greens, olive oil, salt, pepper, mushrooms, mozzarella and Prague ham.

Ingredient:

  • 400 g pizza dough (frozen)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 can (425 g) pizza tomatoes or sliced peeled tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons assorted greens
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 250 g Champignon mushrooms
  • 250 g mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g sliced Prague ham

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Roll out a sheet of dough and place in a form lined with baking paper. Cut into strips. Peel the garlic and grind, add to the tomatoes, together with the chopped greens, 1 tablespoon of oil, salt and pepper. Prepare the mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Cut mozzarella cubes.

Grease the countertop strips with tomato sauce and place mushrooms and cheese on top. Sprinkle with oil and bake for about 25 minutes. Cut the ham into strips and spread on the pizza.

Step 5: Prepare the ingredients for the prosciutto and mushroom pizza

While the dough is cooking for the first time, we prepare all the ingredients.

We cut the mozzarella into cubes and strain all the liquid. We cut the mushrooms into slices and the ham into strips.

After 15 minutes, take the pizza out of the oven, add the mozzarella, york ham, mushrooms and oregano, and bake for another 15 minutes.

TIP: If you want your pizza prosciutto e funghi to come out very crispy, I suggest that you make the last 2 minutes of cooking with the ventilated oven mode.

And we have come this far. You have seen that the steps to follow are few, but it is true that it is a recipe that takes a long time to make due to the fermentation of the flour. But I assure you that the wait will be worth it.

Here I keep my ham and mushroom pizza. As you can see, I usually give it a rectangular shape by the oven mold, but you can give it the classic round shape.

If you liked this Italian recipe, I encourage you to put 5 stars and leave your comments below this post.
