As ripe, sweet mangoes are hard to get, for this heavenly recipe I'm using mangoes out of a tin. Whole mangoes from a tin work just as well, but you just have to pour off the syrup and puree them very well first.

- 350g mango pulp from a tin
- 175g sugar
- 350g soured cream

- Mix mango pulp with sugar, then stir in soured cream. Mix everything thoroughly and leave to cool for a few hours in the refrigerator.
- Prepare the ice cream according to the instructions given by the ice cream machine's manufacturer. Store in tightly sealed container in the freezer.
