We wash the pipettes and cut them if they are bigger;
In a saucepan with a lid, heat the finely chopped onion and add the garlic, bay leaf, sliced carrot, finely chopped tomatoes. Add the paprika and tomato paste, the sliced sausage and the pipotele. Heat them for a few minutes and pour a little white wine. Let it boil over high heat until the wine decreases and then pour a little more water. Season with salt, pepper, put 2 cloves, be careful that it gives a strong taste, do not abuse and cumin powder - just a little. If you like it hot, put a hot chili sauce; and bring to a boil over medium heat, adding water from time to time.
When the pipettes are almost cooked (after about 40 minutes), add the drained and washed canned beans. I had tomatoes, but either is good. AND then the thicker cabbage. Let it boil for another 20 minutes until the cabbage and the rest are soft. If you serve with rice, it is good to have more sauce.
It's delicious with a simple, white rice.
