Hot chocolate

It is a dense hot chocolate that we serve with a teaspoon ...

  • 500 ml of milk
  • 120 gr bitter chocolate
  • 20 gr bitter cocoa
  • 25 gr cornstarch
  • 20 gr sugar

Servings: 3

Preparation time: less than 15 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Hot chocolate:

Put cocoa, starch, sugar and milk in a saucepan. Stir continuously until the sugar has melted.

We grind the chocolate as small as possible with the help of a well-sharpened knife or we grate it.

Add the chocolate to the kettle and stir continuously, bringing everything to a boil.

Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes from the moment it starts to boil.

After this time, we put the chocolate in the cups and garnish with marshmallows or whipped cream.

Good appetite!

Classic hot chocolate recipe

If you want to enjoy the aroma of a classic hot chocolate right at home, you only have to reserve about 20 minutes to prepare it.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 110 g dark chocolate
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 100 ml of liquid cream
  • a spoon of sugar
  • a vanilla essence
  • a pinch of salt.

Method of preparation:

The first step is to put the milk, in which you added the cream, sugar and vanilla essence, on the stove, to boil. After stopping the fire, put the pieces of chocolate and the salt powder in the hot milk. Wait 3-4 minutes until it melts, then use a whisk to mix the ingredients until the composition is homogeneous. Now, all you have to do is pour the hot chocolate into the cups and enjoy its aroma.

If you have a dishwasher, the preparation of hot chocolate will be even simpler, because, in the end, you will only have to serve it, without worrying about cleaning the dishes used. You will thus have more time to enjoy the company of your loved ones and the peace of your home.

Hot chocolate

The taste….? Imagine a fine chocolate with a strong cocoa taste that is complemented by vanilla, which gives it a special finesse.
It is very fragrant and sweet enough to make you enjoy the taste of chocolate, not sugar (you can also find it there but very well homogenized). If you taste it, you will know clearly that there is no need to sweeten it with sugar (it has enough).

MIX FOR HOT CHOCOLATE

The cold weather has come, the first flakes have been ticked, so we declare the hot chocolate season open. And not just any kind of chocolate, but prepared from a homemade mix, from simple ingredients, without any unnecessary addition.

It's so easy to create your own hot chocolate mix that you should never even consider the commercially packaged chocolate mix.

The ingredients below result in about 10 generous portions of mix, over which you will only have to put hot liquid: animal or vegetable milk or even water and possibly your favorite topping: cream, meringues (marshmallows), grated chocolate, cinnamon, whiskey cream for an Irish note, etc.

This mix can be fasting or sweet, depending on the chocolate used. For a rich taste, I recommend a dark chocolate with at least 50% cocoa. I used Kandia for cakes and I think it is an excellent option!

INGREDIENTS

100 g grated dark chocolate

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. (Optional).

The preparation is child's play: I shaved the chocolate through a small grater, added the rest of the ingredients, mixed with a whisk and transferred the whole mix into a jar that can be stored for up to 6 months in the pantry.

For a 150 ml glass, use about 2 teaspoons of dry mixture. If you want a more intense taste, you can put 3, the taste adjusts the proportions.

Creamy hot chocolate is very easy to prepare, and the result is unexpectedly good. Dissolve the starch in 3 tablespoons of whipped cream. Put the milk together with the rest of the whipped cream in a pot, over low heat. When it starts to boil, add the sugar and mix until it melts, then pour the whipped cream into which we dissolved the starch and mix with a whisk until smooth.

We take the mixture of milk and whipped cream, and we add the pieces of chocolate with mint inside (I used it from Heidi). You can use any kind of chocolate instead, bitter or with milk, but I wanted my hot chocolate to have a subtle summer flavor, because I don't want to think about low temperatures yet :).

We serve hot creamy chocolate with mint, hot :) with pieces of grated chocolate on top.
