I really wanted to surprise a friend whose daughter is now 18 years old, initially the idea was to cover it with chocolate and decorate it, but then I thought of copying some pictures and make it so (the pictures are made of edible paper)

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 vanilla essence
  • 200 ml fresh (cream)
  • 100 g nutella duo / finetti
  • 200 g white chocolate
  • 50 g butter (glaze)
  • 25 ml liquid cream

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes


leaf: beat the egg whites with the sugar well until it becomes a frothy cream; add the yolks and continue to mix but with a wooden spoon. Add flour, baking powder and essence. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Meanwhile, the ready-made whipped cream is slowly mixed with nutella and then when the top is ready, cut it in 2 and put the cream in the middle, then put it in the fridge for an hour (to harden a little).

Last hour we take it out and join the top.

Glaze: at baine marie melt the chocolate, add the butter and liquid cream, continuing to mix vigorously. When the fat comes out, take the bowl and mix vigorously over a carp or plate. We put it back on the fire for a few seconds, stirring in a bain marie. Once it has become quite liquid, having the desired consistency (neither too soft nor too hard) we start to pour it over the counter, rotating the counter and moving it in such a way that the chocolate reaches the edges. We straighten it quickly until it hardens and put it in the fridge.

Ever since I first put it on the family table at a festive table, they've started inventing extra holidays and anniversaries, just-just to make them this sweet treat. It's easy, try it too!

  • Preheat the oven to a high degree and grease 3 cake tins (round and of the same size) with butter and line with flour. If you do not have 3 trays in the same way, you can make the 3 countertops in the same tray, one at a time.

In a large bowl (preferably the one that comes with the foot mixer, because it is roomy) add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt, mixing well.

Then add the oil, milk, eggs and vanilla essence, mixing at medium speed with the mixer until smooth. Reduce speed to lowest and add boiled water & # 8211 not all at once but gradually. Divide the dough evenly between the 3 trays and bake for about 30 minutes (if the dough no longer sticks to the toothpicks, it means it's ready).

Remove from the oven and leave to cool for about 10 minutes. Take them out of the trays and set them aside until they cool completely.

In a large, non-stick pan, combine the condensed milk and starch. Mix. Add sugar, egg yolks, butter / margarine and vanilla essence. Put the pan on the stove over low to medium heat until it boils slightly. Stir gently and steadily until it starts to thicken & # 8211 about 12 minutes after it starts to boil. Get off the fire. Add the coconut flakes and nuts / hazelnuts and mix well. If you want it to have an extra ripe flavor, you can easily fry the pecans / hazelnuts beforehand. Leave the cream to cool for about an hour before spreading it on the already cooled countertops, in the classic style: countertop 1, cream, countertop 2, cream, countertop 3, cream / glaze.

We soak the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of cold water.

We melted the broken chocolate pieces together with 200 ml of whipped cream. Bring to the boil, then set aside and stir until the chocolate melts. Let it cool.

Heat a little 50 ml of whipped cream and then put it over the gelatin. Homogenize and leave to cool. Beat the rest of the whipped cream well, then pour over the gelatin mixture.

Incorporate the whipped cream with gelatin into the chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until it starts to harden.

We caramelize the sugar and then quench it with water. leave to cool until all the sugar dissolves.

In the tray in which we baked the worktop, lined with food foil, we put the first well-syruped worktop, chocolate cream and cover with the other syrupy worktop. Cover with foil and let cool for a few hours, until the cream hardens.

Melt the chocolate together with the whipped cream and the butter, mix well and leave to cool.

Put the foil on the cake aside, place the tray over the tray and turn the cake over with a firm motion.

Cover with chocolate icing.

After it hardens well, turn it over on a plate and carefully remove the bag.

Dress the cake in whipped cream, then put half of the syrupy biscuits around it. Put pieces of pineapple on top, halves of grapes (remove the seeds very easily with the tip of a knife), small pieces of orange. For a special look, use a cone to garnish with whipped cream in which to put a little cocoa.
