Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, which is all the more reason to make those dinner reservations early — the national day of love is traditionally one of the busiest of the year for the hospitality industry. Here are some spots to take your special someone in Los Angeles this romantic holiday:

Café Del Rey
Café Del Rey in Marina Del Rey is featuring a three-course Mediterranean-inspired prix fixe menu including dishes of oysters, Maine lobster, scallops, prime rib, and a choice of strawberry shortcake or tiramisù for dessert; $85 per person.

Cast & Plow
The Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey’s Cast & Plow will offer a four-course prix fixe menu with smoked mahi crudo, beef rossini, mushroom orzotto, and a raspberry gelée; $80 per person.

Seafood lovers will adore Casa Del Mar’s romantic view and Valentine’s Day menu at Catch. The three-course meal includes choices of Maine lobster salad, smoked salmon rillettes, black cod, Nantucket Bay scallop gnocchetti, chocolate espresso tart, and passion fruit chiffon cake; $95 per person.

In addition to the regular à la carte menu, the trendy Cecconi's is featuring specials that are perfectly portioned for dining duos to share. They include a seafood platter for two ($38), chateaubriand filet ($98), and a chocolate fondant with cherry gelato ($16).

Culina at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills will be serving a four-course menu including scallops tartare, a wild mushroom and goat cheese tart, dover sole, bone-in short ribs, and a passion fruit semifreddo; $98 per person.

Día de Campo
Hermosa Beach’s Día de Campo is serving a four-course prix fixe romantic dinner. The menu will feature dishes like wood-grilled octopus, scallops with bacon crumbs, and a short-rib empanada; $55 per person.

Estérel at the Sofitel Beverly Hills Hotel will offer four-course prix fixe menu with citrus carpaccio, veloute of morel mushrooms, roasted bone marrow, duck breast, and a dark chocolate tart; $75 per person.

Studio City’s romantic Firefly will be serving a prix fixe menu for two featuring kumomoto oysters, seared fois gras, diver scallops, and a dark chocolate ganache; $100 per person.

La Boheme
WeHo’s La Boheme already has a romantic atmosphere with a huge roaring fireplace, chandeliers and semi-private booths. Their special Valentine’s Day dinner includes ono crudo, roasted quail, striped sea bass, and a passion fruit tart; $79 per person.

Lucques, AOC, and Tavern
Chef Suzanne Goin is offering special Valentine’s Day menus at Lucques, AOC, and Tavern. Lucques will serve a five-course menu including dishes such as buckwheat blini with caviar and veal with chanterelles; $125 per person. At AOC, dishes include a foie gras terrine, Spanish fried chicken, and a chocolate whiskey cake; $100 per person. In Brentwood, Tavern will offer up a Maine lobster salad, wild mushroom risotto, grilled rack of lamb, and a chocolate tart; $95 per person.

Polo Lounge
Dine like a star at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s iconic Polo Lounge. Their four-course menu includes choices of a poached Maine lobster salad, roasted beet salad, Kurobuta pork, beef wellington, Diver scallops, and chocolate gateau; $165 per person.

Wildcraft in Culver City is offering a five-course prix fixe menu including cocoa tagliatelle, lobster risotto, and herb basted flatiron steak; $50 per person.

Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel Air
Head to the hills of Bel Air for a romantic escape to enjoy Wolfgang Puck’s outstanding cuisine at the uber romantic Hotel Bel Air. His four-course menu includes a Hamachi sashimi, Maine lobster pot pie, wild French turbot, a waygu New York sirloin, and a grapefruit givre; $165 per person.
