What do you do when you have a lot of green onions and garlic in the fridge (from the country)? Stupid, of course! I know the lamb is wonderful, but I don't even see it on the plate. Let the chick live.

  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 20 green onions / garlic
  • 300 ml tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • salt to taste

RECIPE PREPARATION Chicken stew:

Boil whole onions / green garlic in water to cover them, about 10 minutes (to soften). Do not mix, so as not to confuse the tails. Strain and store water. When they have cooled, twist them in the form of wreaths, as tight as possible (I do this with a fork that I rotate).

In the hot oil, fry the chicken pieces on all sides until golden. Put the chopped onion and garlic and cook over medium heat. Add from the water in which the onion boiled and leave until the chicken is almost cooked. Add the tomato juice, season with salt and let the sauce form. Put the onion / garlic wreaths in the sauce. Mix the starch with a little onion juice and pour it into the sauce to bind it. Give it a few boils.

  • salt - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons l.

You must proceed in the same way as in the first recipe.

Mustard with honey

  • honey - 4 tbsp. it.
  • mustard beans - 1 tbsp.
  • paprika - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • salt - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • black pepper - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • apple cider vinegar - 2 teaspoons l.
  • garlic powder - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • hot peppers - ¼ teaspoon l.
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp.

You can mix the marinade with the breast not in the freezer bag, but in any bowl or saucepan, especially if you are going to cook on the same day. You can use table vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar in this recipe. If the presence of chili is too hot for you, then you can do without this ingredient. By the way, in principle, you can use sunflower oil, choose only crude oil. You can use a little less honey and, in addition to mustard seeds, it would be good to add at least a teaspoon of mustard itself.

With coriander

  • lime juice - 4 tbsp.
  • zira - 1 teaspoon l.
  • salt - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • black pepper - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • hot peppers - a tip
  • coriander - 3 tbsp. it.

You can, of course, use lemon juice instead of lemon juice, and you can generally use extra spices that you like the most. For me personally, pickled meat is a barbecue anyway. A kebab is hard to perceive without a pickled onion. Therefore, you can mix all the ingredients for the marinade and you can send the breasts to the marinade together with the onion, cut into rings. Then cook the breast, as described in the previous recipes, and place the pickled onion on top of the meat five minutes before the end of cooking.

Caribbean marinade

  • dried thyme - 1 teaspoon l.
  • ground cloves - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • salt - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • black pepper - 0.5 teaspoons l.
  • garlic powder - 2 tbsp. it.
  • cinnamon - a tip
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp l.

Not everyone likes spices like cloves and thyme, but thanks to these ingredients the taste of the meat becomes somehow original. And the presence of cinnamon adds a little appetite.

If you want to send the meat to the freezer, you must first marinate it for two hours in a tight bag, then directly in this bag and transfer it to the freezer.
