Domino cake

Prepare the mayonnaise from the 100 ml of milk, 1 lgt of sugar and a tablespoon of flour and leave to rise. In a bowl put flour, salt powder, lard, beaten eggs and sour cream. Mix everything then turn over on the work table and knead a soft and non-sticky dough. It is divided into four equal parts.

Wallpaper a tray measuring 25x35 with baking paper. Spread the first sheet that is placed in the tray. Grease the apricot jam sheet. Spread the second sheet and place it carefully over the jam.

The shit is cut into small pieces and placed on top of the second sheet, as close as possible and in different colors (not to leave too much space between the pieces of shit). Put the third sheet over the shit.

Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add the sugar one at a time and continue mixing until all the sugar has melted. Put the ground walnuts and mix gently until smooth. This composition is spread over the third sheet, and the last sheet will be placed on top.

Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes (or until nicely browned on top.

Meanwhile, mix the two egg yolks well with powdered sugar until it becomes a frothy cream.

After the cake is baked, take it out of the oven and as hot as it is, grease it with the yolk icing and level it quickly. Leave to cool, then portion and serve.

How to make DOMINO cake

You need: 4 eggs, vanilla sugar, 250 grams of sugar, 250 grams of butter, 250 grams of flour, 5 tablespoons milk, a teaspoon of cocoa, a sachet of baking powder, a jar of apricot jam or other sour jam, 100 g chocolate icing or rolled marzipan

What should you do:

Mix the butter at room temperature with the sugar. Beat the eggs with the milk and incorporate them easily, mixing with the same speed. A very fine and frothy cream will come out. Incorporate flour and baking powder, mixing at the same speed, so as not to cut the composition. Divide the dough in two: one of the halves is colored with cocoa or dye of any color you prefer.

Wallpaper a tray with baking paper and divide it in two with a piece of aluminum foil folded in 4 and placed vertically, as a partition wall. Pour the dough into the two halves, the white one on one side, the colored one on the other. Place the tray in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa. Add the rest of the ingredients, then mix everything with the mixer, briefly, on low speed. Continue at high speed, approx. 2 minutes, until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Half of the amount of dough is distributed into muffin tins, using two tablespoons. Place a wafer cube in each form and then spread the rest of the dough on top. Place in the oven and bake on the grill in the lower third.

Baking time: about 25 minutes

The muffins are peeled off with the paper forms in the tray, then left to cool on a kitchen grill.

Glaze: The glaze is prepared according to the instructions on the package. Cut the envelope in the corner and let it drain on the edges or with a knife, spread it over the muffins. It is then left to stand to harden.

To cover: Sweet cream and whipping cream are whipped. The currant jelly is rubbed for homogenization, then incorporated into the cream. The cream thus obtained is then placed in a posh with a star hole and is distributed decoratively on muffins.

Decor: Cut 6 cubes of wafers diagonally and place over the cream. The muffins are kept cold until serving.

Currant jelly can be replaced with other red fruit jellies or even jam (but the jam must be strained).

The wafers can be replaced with crispy Dr. Oetker chocolate muesli.

    This is a recipe I make on other holidays. Peel the eggs, cut them in half and remove the yolk.

    In a bowl mix quality butter with liver pate and egg yolk, add salt and pepper.

    From two yolks you can make a mayonnaise to which you add lemon juice and sweet mustard, which you then lengthen with cream as weak as possible. Boiled egg mayonnaise is a little harder, if you can't find it, try a raw egg yolk and a chopped boiled egg.

    Place this sauce in a bowl, fill the egg halves with the yolk mixture with the pate, place the eggs with the filling down in the sauce. When serving, add this sauce. A delight!

    If you are not a fan of sauce, you can fill half the egg and place them with the cream up on a plate.

    What I haven't tested and it really tempts me to try would be Scottish eggs. From what I saw, the boiled egg is placed in a minced meat or sausage coating, over which breadcrumbs and Parmesan are added, then fried. It looks like big meatballs at the end. I think the combination would be very interesting, probably heavy, but delicious.

    I've seen other recipes with salty cake with boiled egg in the middle, as set aside, for example, entirely in the middle of the dough. This recipe doesn't tempt me too much, but I admit it looks good.
